By my mid-thirties, I was morbidly obese at 310 lbs. I set a goal to be "Fit by 40" Like most people I'd lost and regained weight over and over and over. I committed to a comprehensive approach on my 37th birthday. I employed help from a nutritionist, a fitness trainer, and a psychologist. When I reached my 40th birthday, I had lost over 150 pounds. I have maintained that weight loss for over ten years. How? By flanking the causes of obesity on ALL sides: food, fitness, and feelings. Now I help other people do what I did by educating them on the food they eat, the best way to condition their bodies, and exploring the feelings that drive our eating behavior.
